The water sports season traditionally starts at the beginning of September when weather conditions get warmer and everyone comes out to play. From spring the Riviera on Vaal Hotel & Country Club features a dedicated water sports resorts centre that will channel adventure and water sports bookings. All information and enquiries will be directed to the adventure centre with the additional opportunity for you to purchase any water sports equipment.

The Hotel’s fleet consists of:

• Sensation 18 ft speed boat (suitable for 4 people plus skipper)
• Sensation 24 ft speed boat (suitable for 8 people plus skipper)
• Petit Verdot Floating Restaurant suitable for 110 people cruising or 80 people for dining.

Offering a wide variety of activities, this will be one of the prime water sports resorts this side of town.

Safety First

Bookings for the water sports resorts activities are by appointment only during the week, while access during weekends, public holidays and school holidays will be manned. All safety gear is provided for you. Note that safety and precaution is high priority; all skippers are trained in first aid with additional boat training apart from standard requirements.
