Children are always welcome at the child-friendly Riviera on Vaal Hotel & Country Club boasting ample child friendly hotel entertainment facilities to entertain your kids and ensure they are amused. You will delight in some much needed rest and relaxation because your children will be kept busy with the child friendly hotel entertainment.

Child friendly hotel entertainment at Riviera on Vaal Hotel & Country Club includes:

• Kiddies corners in both Riviera on Vaal Hotel & Country Club restaurants kids can sit in their special corner and colour in or play with toys. There is also a cot available for parents with small babies.
• Jungle gyms a popular outdoor activity for your little ones bursting with energy.
• Murphy Kids and Teenage Entertainment Centre.

The following is a summary of the activities on offer every Saturday and Sunday.

Time: 11:00 - 15:00

Treasure hunt with a difference
The entire premises will be used for older kids while the golf course will be excluded for the younger kids. Teams will follow simple clues and use a map to find the treasure. This treasure hunt will differ from the one mentioned above catering for kids joining in for the second time.

Face painting
Get your face painted and have loads of fun in the process.

Boardgames
Play a variety of boardgames from snakes and ladders to pachisi.

Armchair treasure hunt
Try to find different objects in a picture.

Colouring
Lots of different pictures that are easy to colour in.

Puzzles
A few easy puzzles to put together (30 pieces at most).

Cookies
The kitchen provides the dough and you get to make cookies using various cutters.

Murphy

Murphy is the mascot for the Zorgvliet Portfolio and entertains kids at all Zorgvliet Portfolio destinations Riviera on Vaal Hotel & Country Club, Ka´Ingo Private Reserve & Spa and Zorgvliet Vineyard Lodge & Spa.

Your kids can join the Murphy Kids Club. As members they will receive a monthly newsletter, their own club cards and a free meal at either Inyama Grill House or Matthews Restaurant for their birthday. You can e-mail Murphy at murphy@zorgvliet.com.

Your kids can have their birthdays placed on Murphy´s website (www.murphy.co.za) and see fun DIY stuff and also enter colouring-in competitions.

Your kids will be safe and well looked after by the child minders in the centre. They will enjoy amusing child friendly hotel entertainment such as:
